Class 3 motor lock enhancing intrusion protection in perimeter security

STEP 350 motor lock is developed with world-leading technology to increase intrusion security in perimeter protection and create secure locking around the clock. It can be placed in door environments that are used with high frequency and combine intrusion security, evacuation, re-entry and fire requirements.

Increases intrusion security around the clock

Thanks to its sturdy hook bolt, which anchors securely into the frame, you can trust that the door is truly locked, not just latched. The hook bolt engages after every passage, even during daytime use, delivering uninterrupted intrusion protection around the clock.

Certified for intrusion protection in class 2A, 2B and 3 acc. to SSF 3522.

Handles a very high opening frequency

STEP 350 is built to withstand millions of openings, just as fast as an electric strike.

With unique FreeDrive^®

The FreeDrive^® technology disengages the motor and gearbox every time the lock is mechanically opened. This minimizes wear when using a thumb turn, key or emergency exit device. Locks with FreeDrive^® are therefore advantageously used together with STEP Exit in doors on evacuation routes, and can be used thousands of times every day.

For door environments with fire requirements

Certified in fire technical class E/EI120 acc. to EN 14846.

For door environments with evacuation requirements

Mechanical override via cylinder follower

STEP 350 can be mechanically overridden via the cylinder follower. Both the hook bolt and latch bolt can be retracted with a key from the outside, or with a thumb turn, cylinder or emergency exit device from the inside. This makes STEP 350 an excellent choice for alarmed emergency exit routes.

Control unit with smart functions

Choose between the ST300C and ST500C control units. Both use encrypted communication OSDP AES-128 for locking, unlocking and status indications.

For RC3-classified security doors

The demand for security is increasing, and security doors and perimeter protection have become an essential part of planning for both residential and commercial buildings. Several manufacturers today offer solutions with STEP 300 series for RC3 security doors:
