Motor lock with split function, for increased intrusion security

STEP 352 motor lock is developed with world-leading technology to increase intrusion resistance in perimeter protection and create secure locking around the clock.

Especially designed for facilities that are unlocked during the day, but are locked in the evening even though the business continues, and where people must still be able to evacuate, such as universities.

Increases intrusion security around the clock

Thanks to its sturdy hook bolt, which anchors securely into the frame, you can trust that the door is truly locked. The hook bolt engages after every passage, even during daytime use, delivering uninterrupted intrusion protection around the clock.

Certified for intrusion protection in class 2A and 2B acc. to SSF 3522.

Handles a very high opening frequency

STEP 351S is built to withstand millions of openings, just as fast as an electric strike.

For door environments with accessibility requirements

STEP 351S is without latch bolt which means it can handle door automation/accessibility requirements.

User-friendly with built-in split function

The built-in split function enables the door to be opened mechanically from the inside, without an open button. The lock has an alarm bypass that allows "Approved passage" and gives the door environment unbeatable user-friendliness.

The split function also ensures that evacuation cannot be blocked with the exterior lever handle.

With unique FreeDrive^®

The FreeDrive^® technology disengages the motor and gearbox every time the lock is mechanically opened. This minimizes wear when using a thumb turn, key or emergency exit device. Locks with FreeDrive^® are therefore advantageously used together with STEP Exit in doors on evacuation routes, and can be used thousands of times every day.

For door environments with fire requirements

Certified in fire technical class E/EI120 acc. to EN 14846.

Control unit with smart functions

Choose between the ST300C and ST500C control units. Both use encrypted communication OSDP AES-128 for locking, unlocking and status indications.

The demand for security is increasing, and security doors and perimeter protection have become an essential part of planning for both residential and commercial buildings. Several manufacturers today offer solutions with STEP 300 series for RC3 security doors:
