Premium mechanical emergency locks certified acc. to EN 179

STEP E22 is a mechanical emergency lock with double latch bolts. The lock is developed with unmatched quality built to last over time.

  • Modern bolt placement with the cylinder latch bolt located in the center of the lock case.
  • The lock is reversible to fit both right and left hung doors.
  • Lock case face plate in stainless steel.
  • Latch bolts in hardened steel with a surface treatment of chemical nickel plating.
  • Perfectly suited for use in combination with electric strikes.

Certified for evacuation acc. to EN 179 in combination with STEP Exit emergency exit devices.

STEP E22 is a mechanical emergency lock case you can truly rely on. With the same high standards for quality, feel and finish, it is now possible to give the entire door environment a consistent level of quality, as the mechanical lock in the door can maintain exactly the same high level as the electric strike plate in the frame. Certified acc. to EN 179.

Connection cable ST0119 for STEP Mechanical lock cases. The cable is 10 m long and has 12 conductors.

The spring has a wide inner diameter of 12.8 mm which facilitates the passage of the cable.
