STEP 122 is a reliable solenoid handle lock in stainless steel with classic bolt placement. It´s developed to handle a high opening frequency and at the same time maintain maximum operational reliability. Perfectly suited for use in combination with electric strikes.
Ideal for daytime locking and internal locking in offices, schools, hospitals, industrial facilities, and other shared spaces.
With patented DirectDrive®
The DirectDrive® function provides direct operation and a smooth, responsive feel when using the door handle. It allows the lock to open even under high door pressure and introduces an entirely new level of experience for solenoid handle locks.
Without split function
STEP 122 is without split function, which means that both sides of the lock are electrically controlled.

Certified in fire technical class E/EI120 acc to. EN 14846.

Functional description
- The latch bolt is retracted mechanically via the cylinder follower with key from the exterior side or key/thumb turn from the interior side.
- Exterior lever handle is activated electrically via access control system, code lock or similar, and retracts latch bolt.
- Both the interior and exterior side are electrically controlled.
- Reversible to fit both right and left hung doors.
- Reversible fail secure/fail safe function.

- Durability: Grade X per SS-EN 14846.
- Certified for fire resistance up to Class F (E/EI 120) in accordance with SS-EN 14846: 2008.
