Heavy‑duty electric strike with fast, durable locking
STEP 15 Secure has a rotating cam that encloses the lock case’s extended bolt or hook bolt. For maximum security, the door lock should be equipped with a double cylinder. The door is typically opened via access control system, but it can also be opened with a key or thumb turn.
By combining the durability and speed of an electric strike with the security of a bolt lock, STEP 15 Secure is well-suited for high-security environments such as banks, prisons, and defense facilities.
For door environments with the highest security requirements
- Certified for burglary protection in Grade 7 acc. to EN 14846.
Handles evacuation and re-entry
STEP 15 Secure in fail-safe function, it can be installed on doors equipped with an emergency release button. Handles re-entry.
With patented STEP Preload technology
Modern door environments place high demands on sound insulation and indoor climate. This requires tightly sealed doors, which in turn results in high preload pressure.
Several factors can further increase the strain on the lock, such as unsynchronized door automation, snow or gravel on the threshold, or a slightly warped door.
STEP Preload technology ensures that STEP 15 Secure can unlock even under preload pressures of up to 500 kg. This patented technology withstands comparison and sets the standard for the entire industry.
For Extra Reinforced Installation
If additional reinforcement is required, STEP 15 Secure can be complemented with reinforcement accessories. These are available for both internal and external frame mounting and are secured using threaded rods and sleeve nuts for a strong, unified assembly.
