With unique FreeDrive®
The FreeDrive® technology disengages the motor and gearbox every time the lock is mechanically opened. This minimizes wear when using a thumb turn, key or emergency exit device. Locks with FreeDrive® are therefore advantageously used together with STEP Exit in doors on evacuation routes, and can be used thousands of times every day.

Mechanical override via cylinder follower
STEP 350 can be mechanically overridden via the cylinder follower. The hook bolt can be retracted with a key from the outside, or with a thumb turn, cylinder or emergency exit device from the inside. This makes STEP 351 an excellent choice for alarmed emergency exit routes.
Control unit with smart functions
Choose between the ST300C and ST500C control units. Both use encrypted communication OSDP AES-128 for locking, unlocking and status indications.

STEP 351 Motor lock
Class 3 motor lock that increases intrusion security, 24/7
STEP 351 is a powerful and fast hook bolt motor lock that can withstand heavy loads. Approved in class 2A, 2B and 3 acc. to SSF 3522. It is advantageously used as a night lock in door environments where you want to increase intrusion security.

Functional description
- The hook bolt locks/unlocks electrically via opening signal from access control system, code lock, push button or similar.

STEP Safety strike plate/cover box ST9015
ST9015 is a patented safety strike plate/cover box.
ST9015 is a cover box, a fully mechanical version of the electric strikes STEP 40/90 Preload. The box is a perfect alternative to recieve a mechanical function, or while waiting for an electric strike to be inserted. The cover box fits in all frame recesses that are made for STEP 40/90 Preload and can be mounted together with exactly the same faceplates.
STEP Lead cover ST1283
STEP lead cover is made of stainless steel and fits both wooden, steel and aluminum doors.
The spring has a wide inner diameter of 12.8 mm which facilitates the passage of the cable.
STEP lead cover is adapted for our motor locks, solenoid locks and all STEP mechanical locks equipped with a microswith.
