STEP E37 is a mechanical emergency lock case you can truly rely on. With the same high standards for quality, feel and finish, it is now possible to give the entire door environment a consistent level of quality, as the mechanical lock in the door can maintain exactly the same high level as the electric strike plate in the frame. Evacuation via STEP Exit emergency device retracts both latch bolts, the upper latch bolt then stays retracted in the lock.After evacuation, the upper latch bolt is restored with a full turn of the key via cylinder.
