A solenoid handle lock with modern bolt placement

STEP 112 is a solenoid handle lock in stainless steel. This durable lock is equipped with a unique DirectDrive® function and modern bolt placement. CE-marked according to SS-EN 14846: 2008 in fire resistance class E/EI120.

The construction is designed with STEP’s high quality requirements, which ensures a powerful performance with high reliability.

Modern bolt placement

STEP 112 comes with modern bolt placement with the cylinder latch bolt located in the center of the lock case.

STEP 112 is electrically controlled from both sides. This is an advantage, for example, in door environments where you want access control systems from both sides.

Several optional features

STEP 112 has several optional functions, such as a door hanging and fail secure/fail safe function.

Integrated microswitches indicate closed and interlocked mode, as well as handle operation, for connection to access control systems.

STEP 112 is very well suited for use together with electric strikes.

Functional description
  • The latch bolt is retracted mechanically via the cylinder follower with key from the exterior side or key/thumb turn from the interior side.
  • Exterior lever handle is activated electrically via access control system, code lock or similar, and retracts latch bolt.
  • Both the interior and exterior side are electrically controlled.
  • Reversible to fit both right and left hung doors.
  • Reversible fail secure/fail safe function.

 

STEP 112 KPL

STEP 112 KPL is a complete set containing STEP 112 soleniod handle lock, a lead cover and 10 m connection cable.

STEP lead cover is made of stainless steel and fits both wooden, steel and aluminum doors. The spring has a wide inner diameter of 10.8 mm which facilitates the passage of the cable.

The set contains a 12 core, 10 m connection cable.
