LAUNCH: Powerful mechanical hook bolt lock cases

StepLock’s range of mechanical locks continues to grow! Now we are launching two strong mechanical hook bolt lock cases, designed to be used in door environments with the absolute toughest intrusion requirements. Developed with our renowned high quality and functionality standards.

For door environments with the highest demands on intrusion security

With STEP Mechanical hook bolt lock cases, you no longer need to compromise on intrusion security. The locks’ extremely strong hook bolt has a breaking strength of 56 kN (5,600 kg), making them very difficult to force and ensuring very high intrusion security in your door environment.

• •   Certified for burglary protection in Grade 5 according to SSF 3522.
• •   Certified for burglary protection in Grade 7 according to SS-EN 12209.
• •   Certified for fire-rated doors in Grade 1 (E/EI120) according to SS-EN 12209 (H51 achieves the same grade in combination with a latch lock).

Choose between H50 and H51

Choose from H50 (with hook bolt and latch bolt) and H51 (with hook bolt). Both can be obtained with or without a micro switch.

360° rotation

The hook bolt locks/unlocks with a key or magnetic thumb turn via the cylinder position with 360° rotation, from both the interior and the exterior side (without a so called “flip-up” function).

Superior quality and functionality

Just like all our products, H50 and H51 are designed with quality and functionality to ensure maximum performance and a very long lifespan. The hook bolt and latch bolt are made of hardened steel with a surface treatment of chemical nickel plating. The lock case face plate is made of stainless steel.

Increases security in many types of door environments

The locks fit all types of security doors and perimeter protection doors. This includes a variety of businesses, such as office, trade, or apartment doors.

Create an electrical solution

Combine with STEP 18 Secure or STEP 28E Secure to create smooth passage with electrical locking/unlocking. It is a perfect combination for e.g. detention centers, prisons, industrial or office spaces.
