Electric strike STEP 30 Preload

STEP 30 Preload is a minimal electric strike designed to replace existing simple electric strikes and create a reliable door environment even with older doors and recesses. The unique Preload technology makes sure that the door can unlock- even if it´s subjected to preload pressure.

The Preload pressure technology makes the electric lock work well with the door’s sealing strips. The technology gives the door a very high level of operational reliability and allows it to maintain its sealing properties. This way you have the opportunity to achieve a reliable and well-functioning door environment, even in older door sections and recesses.

STEP’s patented Preload technology

A common problem is that a door is subjected to pressure, for example, because the door is a little skew or that gravel or snow has gathered at the doorstep. STEP 30 Preload is equipped with STEP’s patented Preload technology that allows the door to unlock, even if subjected to pressures of up to 40 kg.

• Seals and pressure differences – The Preload technology enables the door to unlock even if the door lock is tensioned against the electric strike.
• Door automation – The Preload technology combined with a rapid unlocking means that the door opens quickly and without risk of becoming stuck.
• Evacuation door – The Preload technology ensures that a fire alarm can release the lock, despite pressure against the door by a crowd, seals, pressure differences or warped doors.
